In Goad We Trust - a 10 year retrospective show featuring the work of illustrator/artist Jason Goad.

Since 2001, Dayton area native Jason Goad has been working as a freelance illustrator and painter. His illustrations can be seen on projects ranging from tattoo flash to skateboards, rock merchandise and motorcycle helmets. He has also created graphics used for Hot Wheels designs by Mattel toys and redesigned their sponsored Monster Jam truck, Bad News Travels Fast.

Goad gained acclaim and built a strong fan base for his work while illustrating rock posters for national acts such as Alice in Chains, Chris Isaak, The Gorillaz, Pink, Ministry, Willie Nelson, The Killers, Black Crowes, and many others. His poster work led to creating CD packaging for The Offspring, as well as merchandise designs for Ozzy Osbourne and Heart. Goad’s rock posters have been featured in the books The Art of Modern Rock, SWAG, and Frank Kozik’s cutting edge source book Panda Meat; Goad has been profiled in the magazines Club International and Concrete Wave. His work can be seen on the big and small screen, too. The poster he created for The Get Up Kids is featured in scenes of the movie Sky High, and his “Texas Rollergirls” poster was used prominently in the reality television program Rollergirls.

In addition to his commercial work, Goad is an established painter and illustrator, and his paintings and creations have been featured in gallery shows around the country.

Goad is influenced by the media, growing up in the 80s, comic books, anime and art nouveau.
